Scissor lift tires are almost always solid and very often non-marking, because scissor lifts work indoors on finished floors. Black rubber leaves streaks that somebody has to remove, and in inspected facilities, that is a real cost. We fit them on site.

Why scissor lifts run solid
A scissor lift carries its load high and moves slowly, so stability matters and ride quality does not. Solid tires give a fixed contact patch and cannot go flat with an operator at height, which is why almost every scissor lift ships on them.
Non-marking gray and white
Non-marking compounds replace the carbon black that causes streaking, and are stocked in gray and white. They wear slightly faster than standard black, which is the tradeoff for not buffing scuff marks off a customer's floor.
Standard black where floors allow
If your lifts work concrete slabs, warehouses without floor coatings, or outdoor pads, standard black is more durable and costs less. Not every scissor lift needs a non-marking tire, and we will not sell you one you do not need.

Tire and wheel together
Most scissor lift tires are pressed or bonded onto a wheel, and when the tire is done the wheel is often worn or out of round as well. We stock complete assemblies and common sizes, and can fit a set in one visit so a rental unit goes back out the same day.
