Do new forklifts need different tires than the ones they ship with?
Sometimes. Machines ship with a tire specified for a generic application, not for your floor, your duty cycle, or your
attachment. If your building has coated floors or your trucks run outside, the factory tire is often the wrong one and you will
find out through short tire life.
What are non-marking tires and do we need them?
Non-marking tires use a compound without carbon black, so they do not leave dark streaks on finished floors. They are usually gray or white. If your building has sealed, coated, or polished concrete, you need them, and specifying at commissioning is far cheaper than refinishing a marked floor later.
