Industrial tire service in Rome, GA
Heavy loads on unimproved ground
We supply and fit industrial tires across Rome, Floyd County, and the northwest Georgia yards around Lindale, Shannon, and Cedartown. The work here is heavier and dirtier than metro Atlanta: more outdoor equipment, more unimproved ground, and far more puncture risk.

Solid pneumatic and foam fill are not the same answer
Ride, weight, and how long it lasts
They solve the same problem differently
Both remove flats. That is where the similarity ends, and choosing on price alone is how you end up with the wrong tire.
Solid pneumatic
A solid pneumatic tire is solid rubber throughout on a standard rim. It lasts considerably longer, weighs less than a filled tire of the same size, and holds its load rating. It rides firmer, and on rough ground the operator feels it.
Foam fill
Foam-filling puts polyurethane into the casing you already have, keeping the exact tread, diameter, and ground clearance the machine was built with. It weighs substantially more and it is permanent.
How to choose
If the tires are worn out and the ground is hard, go solid. If you like how the machine rides and just want the flats gone, foam-fill it. On a Floyd County yard, that usually means foam-fill for machines that travel and solid for machines that carry.
Tracks alongside tires on mixed yards
Check the undercarriage
Most northwest Georgia yards run both
A working yard here typically has wheeled equipment and tracked equipment side by side, and the tracked machines get overlooked in tire planning because they are not on tires.
Track wear is usually an undercarriage
When a rubber track fails early, the track is often not the cause. Worn idlers, sprockets, and rollers put uneven load into the track and chew through it, so replacing the track without addressing the undercarriage buys you a shorter second track. Our fleet assessment inspects tracks for tread depth, cracking, and edge damage alongside idler and sprocket condition, so you know which problem you actually have.

On-Site Installation In Floyd County
The yard does not have to be flat
The press arrives on our truck and works wherever the machine is standing, including unimproved ground. Worn tires leave with us for EPD-compliant disposal. See how on-site tire installation works.
Questions from Floyd County fleets
Should I choose solid or foam-filled tires?
Choose solid when the tires are worn out anyway and the ground is relatively hard, since solid lasts longer and weighs less. Choose foam-fill when you like how the machine currently rides and handles and only want the punctures gone, since filling keeps the exact tread and ground clearance you have now.
Is foam-filling permanent?
Yes. Once a tire is filled it cannot be unfilled or patched, and when the tread wears out the whole tire is replaced rather than recapped. Minor tread damage does not matter because there is no air to lose, but the decision is one-way.
How much heavier is a foam-filled tire?
Typically two to three times the weight of the same tire filled with air, depending on size. That weight sits low in the wheel and helps stability, but it does add load to bearings and axles over time. On very small equipment it is worth discussing before filling.
Why did our rubber track wear out so quickly?
Usually because of undercarriage condition rather than the track itself. Worn idlers, sprockets, and rollers put uneven load into the track and destroy it early, so a replacement track fitted to the same undercarriage lasts no longer. A fleet assessment tells you which problem you have.
Do you cover Cedartown and Rockmart?
Yes, along with Lindale, Shannon, Silver Creek, Armuchee, and Cave Spring. These are covered on the same scheduled runs as Rome.
